Bike Route for the Half-Distance

Please Note: There will be a bike bottle exchange at mile 28 at the turn around point and fluid/stations at every mile of the run course. Please check our race day information page for updates and maps.


The Half-Distance Triathlon schedule for October 3, 2010 will do the loop twice. Cut off time for the bike is 1:00 pm.



Bassman Fall Bicycle Course
Mount bicycle at Transition Area, exit at front end of area and
TURN RIGHT onto Park Rd. Follow Park Rd. towards park exit
TURN RIGHT onto Stage Rd. and ride for 1.5 miles intersection.
TURN LEFT onto Leektown Rd. (Rt. 653)
After crossing bridge over Wading River continue on Rt. 542
TURN RIGHT onto Bulltown Rd.
BEAR RIGHT onto Tylertown Rd.
BEAR LEFT onto Batso Washington Rd.
BEAR LEFT onto Tylertown Rd.
TURN LEFT onto 542
BEAR RIGHT and continue on Leektown Rd. (Rt.653)
TURN RIGHT onto Stage Rd. and follow back to Bass River State Forest entrance and U turn
Be ready for bottle exchange before exiting the park and repeat the loop again!


Sprint-Distance Bike Course 11.7 Mile


MODIFIED Bassman Sprint Distance Course 11.77 MILES
Mount bicycle at Transition Area, exit at front end of area and
TURN RIGHT onto Park Rd. Follow Park Rd. towards park exit
TURN RIGHT onto Stage Rd. continue onto Leektown Rd..
TURN LEFT onto Hammonton Rd. (Rt.542) - (right before the bridge)
BEAR LEFT & TURN LEFT onto West Rd. (you must slow down on this road)
TURN LEFT onto N. Maple Ave. (Rt. 679)
BEAR RIGHT onto RT.654.
TURN RIGHT onto Stage Rd. and back to Bass River State Forest.
TURN LEFT at entrance and follow Park Rd. Road is open to traffic. You must slow down and give pedestrians the right to go first.
Dismount at Transition Area.
