Prospect Park Du Series

Citytri

Description
The bike course is 14 miles long. It uses the 3.5 Mile loop THREE times. The loop has gradual inclines and declines, substantial curves, and flats. The first run is a fast 3/4 mile loop around the Band Shell on shaded and paved paths. The second run is a 3 mile loop also on paved paths through shaded and open areas of the park. You will go through the longest tunnel in the park, on flat paths with tight curves and one short but steep incline that challenges you to a moderately tough course.

Please remember that the park is open to other cyclist and runners that have the right to go before you. The fact that you are participating in this race doesn't give you the right to go first.

The Parks office gave CityTri a permit to organize a multisport event during the busiest part of the summer based on the number of successful and safe races we have organized in Prospect Park for the past 3 years. We appreciate all you can do to help us keep this clean record and have a safe race. Please be careful and Good Luck!
