• Don’t miss out on your opportunity to learn everything you need to perfect your open water technique for the 2011 season!
• Come enjoy and experience open water, and be trained in open water swimming & techniques under the tutelage & safety of a USAT Certified Coach. Swimmers of all abilities welcome.
• Swimming is the area that most multisport athletes struggle with, and have the most concern and apprehension about.
• This clinic will help increase your comfort and confidence levels by giving you the tools to swim with the pack!  Bricks MultiSport and Head Coach Jess Manning (USAT Level II Coach) will teach and demonstrate and provide the tools you will need, with strategies and techniques to complete the swimming portion of the race.
• The course will cover: Lake, pond & ocean swimming, pack swimming, equipment selection & utilization, Proper technique, entrance & exits, drills, drafting, sighting, buoy turns, pacing, proper warm-up & cool-downs, and much more.
• Clinic attendees will also have opportunity to swim a small distance to experience event simulated situations in the water used for the Bass-man Triathlons!
• Sanctioned event. requires USAT membership or one-day waiver
• Recommended Equipment; Swimsuit,goggles(preferably2pair-1clear1 shaded), wetsuit (recommended), towel, sports watch

USAT Packet Pickup Guidelines

Check-In All athletes must have the following: Valid picture ID, receipt of online registration, current USAT Membership Card or Sign-up for a $10.00 One-day License. All members of Relay Teams must be present by packet pick-up.

ALL athletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS. Every single participant in any USAT sanctioned race must have a photo ID, this includes all relay participants. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID. Annual members are required to bring their membership card every time they compete in a USAT sanctioned event.
