The Brooklyn Spring Duathlon
Supports The Alex Livingston Scholarship fund.
Alex Livingston was a bright, handsome, kind, passionate, and compassionate 29-year-old. He was a loving husband, wonderful son, model brother, and loyal friend. Diagnosed with Melanoma in 2014, he fought valiantly, but lost the battle on 6/18/16.
Alex’s dream in life was to own and operate his own summer camp. That dream was a direct result of his many years as a camper and counselor at Camp Lenox in Lee, MA. He worked there for 16 summers, including two full years between finishing his BA at the University of Pennsylvania and starting his MBA at Harvard.
Lenox was Alex’s “home away from home” and he often said that it allowed him “to be the best version of himself.”
To honor how special Alex was, and how deeply he impacted those around him at camp and elsewhere, we have created a Scholarship Fund, in his name, to ensure that his legacy lives on. This scholarship will benefit campers who are deserving, but unable to afford the tuition at Camp Lenox. You can learn more about Camp Lenox here: http://www.camp lenox.com/
Thank you for donating to a cause that is very special to Alex and his family.
